Taza Chocolate stone grinds organic, ethically sourced cacao beans into a variety of delicious discs and bars using traditional Mexican stone mills. The resultant chocolate has an interesting graininess – you can taste little bits of the cacao beans and sugar – that recalls its pureness and minimal processing. Flavors include Salted Almond (our favorite), Coffee, Guajillo Chili, Raspberry Crunch, and Maple Pecan. More products, some limited edition, such as chocolate covered nuts and baking chocolate, are available at their factory store in Somerville, MA where you can also take a factory tour to see how it’s all made.
